THE PRIZE

The competition is to win a consultation at our Birmingham clinic and treatments totalling £500 from the Efface Aesthetics treatment and product range.

Travel to and from the treatments and any other associated costs are not included.

ELIGIBILITY

This competition is open to UK residents aged 25 years and above. Entrants must also be able to travel to our Birmingham clinic for a consultation and treatment.

The competition will begin at 00:00 GMT on the 1st November 2021 and will run every month until further notice. The promoter ‘Efface’ reserves the right to end this competition or the monthly nature of this competition at any time after the first month.

ENTRY

Simply fill in the Facebook form and complete any actions requested on the confirmation email or SMS.

HOW WE PICK WINNERS

Winners will be picked at the end of every month and notified by either phone or email by the 5th working day of each following month. Winners will be selected by a combination of chance and judgement based on the entrants’ responses by an Efface Jury operated by the promoter. 

Only one winner will be selected each month unless ethical medical guidelines prohibit treatment to a winner as detailed below under the Disclaimers subheading. In this instance, an additional substitute winner will be selected.

SAFE AND ETHICAL AESTHETICS PRACTICE

As a responsible UK aesthetics practitioner, we legally and ethically cannot administer treatments without a demonstrable need in a patient’s circumstances. This ‘need’ will be assessed by our practitioners using the methods that Efface employs in its routine consultations which includes (but is not limited to) a patient’s physiology, symptoms and responses to the Efface patient questionnaire.  

WHAT THIS MEANS

A treatment will only be recommended or administered if there is a justifiable need.

The law is very clear for public safety around the administering of aesthetic treatments. In alignment with best medical practice, we cannot treat areas that do not require it even if that means the prize cannot be awarded to an entrant. In this unlikely but possible event, the prize will be awarded to another entrant selected in the same manner as detailed above. As travel to and from the treatments and any other associated costs are not included within the prize, Efface Aesthetics will not be liable for such costs in the event of a winner not being ethically suitable for treatments. This prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, goods or other goods or services. 

The consultation portion of the prize must be booked and enacted within 14 days of a prizewinner being notified of their win otherwise the prize will be forfeited and a substitute winner will be selected. Any subsequent treatment that constitutes part of the prize must also be administered within 28 days of a prizewinner being notified of their win. These timelines are intended to provide sufficient patient cooling-off periods in line with ethical practice guidelines.

All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the promoter who may publish, and cause to be published, any of the entries received. Efface Aesthetics as part of ChandlerPharm Ltd , is collecting your personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this competition. Your data will  not be shared with any third parties that are not reasonably connected to marketing of Efface. This may include external service providers for profiling services such as Facebook ads or Google ads. In addition, by entering this competition, you consent to Efface sending you information regarding programmes, products and services available through them or their business partners. In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in the editorial activities relating to this competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winners agree to granting the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and imagery in all media worldwide, including online social networks, and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
